Did you know that Mercury made trucks? I didn’t.

They did, because not every place in Canada had a nearby Ford dealer. Places that only had a Mercury dealer were sold the Mercury badged trucks so they would have the same complete lineup as the Ford dealers elsewhere.

The waitress at work was watching a hallmark movie last week and one of the characters drove a Beaumont Acadian (the SD was the equivalent to SS). It was a pretty big part of the plot, too. Apparently hallmark channel likes obscure muscle cars.
